I want to visit the Great Barrier Reef. Can i do a day trip if to the Reef if i stay in Hamilton or Lizard?

Which island do u think is better and more secluded. I am there for my honeymoon and visitin australia for the first time. Also let me know if you recommend any accomodation.

Lizard Island is probably more secluded, but Hamilton is far more popular and caters for honeymoons. There are a few ferry companies that travel around the Whitsundays, you can go on cruises to Whithaven Beach, other islands, the mainland, or out to the reef. You can buy tickets at hotels.

You can go for bushwalks on the lslands if you're into that kind of thing, or just walk around the towns and enjoy the weather.

Brisbane doesn't have much to do. The Gold Coast has four themeparks that are great fun, whatever you like. Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast is probably pretty busy at the moment, but if you don't mind crowds it's a fun day.

The Weather In Australia Is Very Different Year Round

Australia has its seasons in undo to most of the world. When it is coldness in Europe and America, it summer in Australia, and junior versa. However, Kakadu is also a superb experience in the wet time, which is generally November through April. Crowds are fewer and the rains can instigate waterfalls to grow and originate spectacular lightning storms.

No visit to Australia is whole lacking seeing one of the wonders of spirit, the Great Barrier Reef. It is impressive any time of the year, but July through November is considered to be the best time; there is less fortune of spit and the temperatures are a little bit cooler. The waters around the Barrier Reef are some of the clearest and cleanest in the world. If you are diving to see the reef, as thousands of vacationers do, August through January is zenith visibility time.

Also, if you are visiting the northern coast of Australia, especially the northern Queensland topic, you should be prepared for workable cyclones. These cozy sea temperatures caused dedicated winds and generally strike from November to April. If a hurricane is probable, the local TV stations will screen a caveat. It is firmly optional that you should take shelter immediately or vacate the district in the issue of a tempest.
