Question by MM9: How long is Vegemite still good after the expiration date?
I have a jar of Vegemite I haven't opened yet. It says it's expired now, but I'm wondering how long after that date is it still okay to eat?
Best answer:
Answer by Kraken Vegemite has so much salt in it that I am actually surprised that it has an expiration date. I have eaten old vegemite like 2 or 3 months after the exp. date and I haven't gotten sick yet. Use your senses, if you see mold or if it smells and tastes funny throw it away.
